(Ordinance & Regulations of B.Ed. - CCS University, Meerut)

The duration for the Degree of Bachelor of Education shall be one year and examination shall be held at the end of the academic session.

Eligibility- After Graduation

No Candidate shall be allowed to appear in B.Ed. examination unless he/she has put in the required percentage of attendance. Besides the above theory courses, 40 lessons in the subjects offered under 'Method of Teaching' will have to completed by the end of the session.

The performance of the candidate appearing in B.Ed. examination will be evaluated as follows: (i) The evaluation of B.Ed. pupil teacher will be done in 1000 marks. The division will be awarded separately in theory out of 700 (Course I to VII) marks and in practical out of 300 (Course VIII to IX) marks respectively. (ii) The theory part in all the papers (Course 1 to VII) will be evaluated through a system 9f University Examination as per its practice and routine. (iii) Evaluation in paper VIII (Sessional Work) will be done by an internal committee of department.

No candidate shall be declared to have passed B.Ed. Examination unless he/she secures 36% marks in aggregate of all theory papers and 40% marks in practical separately.

If a candidate after completing the required % of attendance fails to appear in theory or in practical or both, he/she will have to appear as an ex-student in both theory as well as in practical without attending further regular classes. The opportunity to reappear will be restricted to two subsequent years only. After the expiry of two years his/her. candidature will be treated as cancelled.

BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (B.P.Ed.)

The B.P.Ed. programme is meant for preparing teachers in Physical Education for Secondary/Senior Secondary schools.

DURATION AND INTAKE:
(a) The B.P.Ed. programme shall be of duration of at least one academic year.
(b) Intake capacity fifty seats (50 seats).

ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Graduate in Physical Education i.e. B.P.E. three years duration

OR

     Graduate having represented state/university in sports/games/athletics

OR

     Graduate who has secured lst, 2nd or 3rd position in inter collegiate sports/games tournaments/NCC
     'C' certificate or passed basic course in adventure sports.

OR

     Graduate with one year training programme in sports science, sports management, sports coaching,
     yoga, Olympic education, sports journalism etc.

(b) Graduate not covered by (a) above, having atleast 45% marks. Preference will be given to the
      candidates covered under (a) and the those eligible under shall be considered for admission when
      candidates of category (a) are not available.
(c) Admission shall be made either on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted
      by the university with due weightage for physical fitness/ proficiency.
(d) There shall be reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/Handicapped, Women and outside - state etc.
      as per rules of the state Govt. concerned and The University.
